How NEX AirGuard Works
NEX AirGuard creates special ions (called Hydroxyl Ions) from water vapor in the air. These ions come in both positive and negative charges and actively seek out harmful particles in your air. When they find these unwanted particles, they break them down and convert them into harmless water vapor.
Against Viruses
The ions specifically target the outer protein shell of viruses, including the notorious spike proteins. By breaking down this protective layer, the ions effectively disable the virus’s ability to infect cells. This makes viruses harmless before they can enter our bodies and cause illness.
Against Bacteria
The ions surround harmful bacteria in the air and break down their protective cell walls. Without this protection, bacteria cannot survive or reproduce, effectively eliminating them from your air space.
Against Fungi & Mold
Working similarly to their effect on bacteria, the ions attack fungi and mold particles by breaking down their cellular structure. This prevents mold and fungi from spreading and growing in your environment.
Against Dust & Fine Particles (PM 2.5)
When dealing with dust and tiny smoke particles (PM 2.5), the ions cause these small particles to stick together. As these particles form larger clusters, they become too heavy to stay airborne and fall to the ground, making them easier to clean and keeping them out of your lungs.
Against Bad Odors
Most unpleasant odors come from bacteria in the air. The ions eliminate these odors at their source by destroying the bacteria causing them. Unlike air fresheners that just mask smells, this provides a permanent solution to odor problems.
Against Harmful Chemicals (VOCs)
Many household items release harmful chemicals called VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). The ions break down these complex chemical compounds into simple, natural molecules that are safe for humans and pets. This process not only makes your air safer to breathe but also eliminates chemical odors at their source.
